Hey everyone! I come to you extremely tired after a long week in class and papers being due. Also, I was on the mainland for about 8 hours yesterday, to attend Smugglers, a youth event at Ross Road.
The course we were taking was Theology of Missions with Tim Stabell, who didn't really capture my attention at all during the week. It was quite the chore trying to stay on task and focussed. We had an exam on the course yesterday, and I thought it went quite well. During the week, however, we knew that we had papers for Theology, a different course, due on Sunday, one was 10 pages and the other was 6 pages. Needless to say, most of us began on Friday night. Our prayer week also began on Friday, so I have the 3 am slot every day this week. We have been so busy and swamped with work, this week is a nice break from what we've been through.
Last night, me and Jenny made the trek from the island right after our exam to the mainland, where pastor Darren picked us up and drove us back for a night of intense games at youth. Afterwards, we didn't even have time to scrape the face paint off, and we were on our way back home. We got back here at about 2:30 in the morning, just in time for my prayer time at 3. Anyways, it's more paper writing time, missions trip in less than two weeks!

Manafest!
Hey from beautiful Crofton, just going through a break in class at the moment. This past week has been interesting, with reading break ending on Wednesday, class on Thursday, and then homework due on Sunday. Reading break was fun, heading out to Caronport for YouthQuake. The 20 some odd hour bus ride went by surprisingly fast, and we had an overall great time at youthquake. It was neat to see people that Craig knew and how they knew me through him. It was a great weekend.
Youth on Wednesday night was ok, frustrating as usual, but good to hang out with the kids and stuff. Friday night was our big night in Crofton, when Manafest, a Christian rapper, came into Crofton to perform at the community centre. It was an amazing show, with a sellout crowd, from our youth and various other youths from around the area. Many kaleo students were there because their respective youth groups were involved. He was a great entertainer and did a good show.
Sunday was a huge..monumental... day for us as Warmland volunteers. It started out as a normal day, helping out in Sunday School and hanging out with kids, but then afterwards, the pastor and his wife took us out for lunch for the first time all year! All the other groups have been taken out to lunch pretty often, so for our first time to come in March is kinda shocking. It was a great lunch at BP's. Thanks for all prayers! Time to get back to class...
